I put this up on another forum, might as well do it here too.
First find your mounting spots. One on the frame and one on the engine block. Where exactly these 2 spots are is up to you.
The Frame

The Engine Block

And then the third spot, this one is not up to you....
Alternator Positive Output

Take 2 cables, with connector rings or terminals attached to both ends of both cables.
Take your first cable and hook up one of the ends to your spot on the frame,

Take your other cable and hook up one of the ends to the engine block spot,

Then you take the 2 lose ends of both cables and hook them both up to the negative post of your battery,

Now, with your third cable, you connect one end of it to the alternator positive output,

And the other end of the same cable, to the positive post of your battery,

And you are all done
