Default Fiberglass finish milkshake mix

what do you guys use for your milkshake mixes.

do you use fiberglass resin, and fiberglass resin hardner with some body putty filler in it.

or, do you use the creme hardener with body filler, then just add resin?

what I'm asking is what is the mix for milkshake for finishing off body filler/resin etc? for say glassing projects

really? because I've used the body filler in some applications, just don't remember what mix I used... i believe it was using the resin hardener or using the bondo hardener.

I think i just added filler, in with resin and resin hardener.

The cream hardener in body filler is actually MEKP just like used in poly resin. I have read that you can just use MEKP in the mix (resin/bodyfiller).

I personally mixed the body filler with the supplied hardener, and the resin with the mekp. I then mixed the two together. Here is what I got (duraglas, and B440 US composites resin).

what is the uses for this mix? is it stronger the just fiberglass resin, for reinforcing corners in a box build or do you pore it over fiberglass to fill the tiny imperfection for painting and to cut down on sanding time
