This is a build log of my Saturn that the trunk shot received a few compliments.
The "RAM AIR' hood is 100% functional.
H/U: Pioneer Avic N1
I used FATMAT and it is two layers. The speakers where the original Orion HCCA 6's, I also used them in the rear. I know that FATMAT isn't regarded as that great of stuff but over 6 years later and it still holding up. The ONLY place that the FATMAT failed was the bottom side of the rear deck. I doubled that stuff up everywhere.
I was running 5.1 DTS in the car with the Pioneer 5.1 processor, for the center channel I cheated and just placed the Pioneer speaker pod on the dash.
I also have every possible attachment hooked to the N1 at the time:
6 disc DVD changer (in glove box)
6 disc CD changer (under driver's seat)
TV tuner (under the rear center cup holder)
XM tuner (under the rear seat)
Rear back up camera (mounted to the bezel of the 3rd brake light)
I had the alternator upgraded to an 180A and I ran 0/1 GA power and negative under the car. Brought it back into the cabin at the rear tire wells.
The reason for this heavy duty wiring, I was originally going to be running 2 HCCA 2100's
