The badging says 150/170 but warm and under load it will do 150 at 800rpm at 2k it will cruise at about 210 amp +
I have had it on three different trucks about 5 years old since I got it new. Only have had it in one vehicle with a large stereo. others had lift kits and winches. It is externally regulated. The regulator comes with it but needs replaced. I took it apart and it has a standard internal regulator in a housing with leds on it. the picture shows the housing is adjustable for voltage but that is not true. Set point is 14.5v its dirty and has not been abused. The badge shows 14 volt but unregulated it is capable of higher voltages if wanting to run a true 14v system. ie 16.5 volts capable. mechanical 10/10 looks dirty/10
This alternator will fit 5.7,4.3 vortec, non vortec
5.3 ls family small block and big block. computer controlled newer style as well as long as external regulator repair is made that comes with it.
