Phoenix Gold Basscube
To sum this up in my own words, the Basscube is a 1 band parametric bass EQ that allows you to select from 20 to 110 hz. It can boost frequencies from 1-15 db (12 db is enough, and adds no coloration to the sound). One the module itself, it has a 18dB/Oct subsonic filter which can either be set for "fixed" (sealed boxes) or "tracking" (ported boxes). There is also a narrow Q setting (for ported boxes) or wide Q (mostly for sealed boxes). This "Q" setting determines how wide the frequencies are boosted; those outside/below/over the center frequency you set it on. The good thing about the remote for these things, is that you can adjust the center frequency on the fly at anytime depending on the music.
To sum up what this thing is actually doing, it's using the majority of your power that you're running and directing it towards a specific frequency band depending on what you set it on. This is not a line driver, nor is it an Epicenter. It has nothing to do with voltage, and it doesn't make the already existing frequencies lower like an Epicenter. I've owned both and the Basscube is WAY cleaner component.
New, never used. The remote is custom made from a guy over on the PhoenixPhorums, and I also have the mounting bracket in the mail from him as well. So there will be a cover for it.
$150.00, SHIPPED. If you're not happy with it, send it back, and upon inspection of any damage or DOA, I will REFUND your money. It's that simple, and I'm that confident.
