That's when you ask them if the saw is square or not. Then make your determination from that point on. Or have them cut a 1/4" bigger, then take it home square it up. I've been thru this....Do I gotta think of everything??
me and you are going back and forth over this ?

all i basiclly said was "3/4 mdf is heavy"

you said, basically, "tell them to cut it for you"

an im like "tell who? it was a free sheet of lumber"

an im not about to jigsaw cut a whole sheet of plywood, to lighten it up,
ill just throw it on the tablesaw. rip it in 5 secs, an be done with it

its a vicious cycle i know,

but im open to all idea's

That's ok. I kinda figured you would have some brains enough to figure out how to cut up 3/4" mdf...I know its heavy, been buyin it for years when it was 20 bucks/sheet. Besides I got better things to do rather than tryin to figure out for you how to cut up mdf...

i never asked for your help to begin with

but you kept offering. so i kept baiting.
This is a forum, everyone gets to chime in. Good day.

seems like a complete platic box would get loud with less work, completely smooth inside. Maybe do a layer of plywood on the outside for added strength.

no hard feelings boomingtahoe,
i thought we were having some good ol fashion forum fun,

i do have a very dry sense of humor, its abrasive at times.
insulting, sarcastic, douchy, offensive but its all in fun.

im too old to take this thing serious (forums)

Well I'll let it slide for now. I have a very good sense of humor...esp at work. Too many serious people. That being said, your old huh?! I'm close to 40 but yet I look like I'm in my early 30's...maybe 20's. Depending upon who cards me!!

I remember seeing the euros building a complete glass (2-3 inch)enclosure for ss1-2 and it was nuts, I think it gained like 4 DB from previous builds out of Mdf and resin
So plastic may yield a decent gain also

good idea.....
or vice-versa, line the inside of your box with some slick plexi, like 1/8" plexi

ive heard of people armor-alling their interior, and gaining on the meter
