are you sure thats why your amp was cutting off cus of the voltage? whats the voice coil config of your t2000's if they are dual 2 you might be running your load down to .5 ohms and that could be why its shutting off also.
2 t2000 15's
I have to t3 t2000 15's running off an audioque 3500 in a 2003 chevy impala. Need box size for my trunk and how many ports amp was cutting off after about 20 seconds of bass I had a kinetik 800 a Deka intimidator battery at the time. Now I have a 220 amp alternator a nsb 125 battery a yellowtop optima under my hood that I added with my other batts my amp shouldn't cut off anymore right?

Yea they are dual 2's I am running it at .5 ohm when I added the other batts and alternator it's not cutting off anymore

thats good its not shutting off anymore, if everything is working fine now and your happy with it why change? other than that if you wanted to what are you looking for more sq or spl and what kinda of vehicle do you have as well?
