2000 ford focus alternator question
Okay so i have a 2000 ford focus and the alternator is a ***** to get at. Has anyone on here replaced or done the big 3 on a car like mine? What's the easiest way to access the alternator? :dontknow:

Might be easier to put it on jack stands and get to it from the bottom. Its just an option if you don't want to take all that stuff apart.

I know this is kind of an old thread but i just did mine. Its about a 45-hour job with 2 people. Have to pull the coolant tank, power steering tank, and the thing on the back of the fire wall. Then it takes some fun wiggling and it pops out. It was 100x easier putting the new one in though.
