alright guys time for a build log. to start this off we have a 91 crx purchased without a dash front bumper and needing a trans. the trans has been fixed and the car runs good so now starts the audio section of the build.

we will be running 2 re se15 on a audiopipe 3k. the 15s we have had and the 3k has been ordered we will run 2 runs of 0g 1+ 1- for now. we will continue to add until we see no more gain. i will be building 3 boxes for this. one sealed to find out where im at frequency wise. one for daily beating tuned around 30-35hz and one at the top frequency more than likely built subs forward 10" pvc back...

the car will be deadened completely until we sain a loss. we will be shooting for numbers in this mainly as classes around me get pretty competitive.

i will be painting the wheels black also blacking out the tails and putting a oem bumper on it. the car will get tinted and repainted flat black. after some body work gets done.

tomorrow i will be starting on doors while waiting for the audiopipe to arrive b4 i start testing so i can have some power. the plan is to eventually run 2 sundown 3500s on 8 sa8s.

here are what pics i have so far my camera is at the shop or id post the vids of a us amps xt4000 and 2 15s did to the windshield already at 30hz lol lets just say the small crack it had now takes over the windshield.

you should go with 10s or 12s , crxs tend to like smaller subs , loudest design was 4 12s 2 forword 2 top and port back
I am going to be doing my own build log. With a 91 crx. Two 15" two amp and two battery spl. Street c
i have considered 4 12s. we are going to play with the 15s and see what kind of number we can get off of what we have for now...

i might get sick of it and drop in 2 10s and run street a or i might say screw it and just do bass race. it all depends how testing goes. i have heard some peak in the high 50s and iv seen a few that peak at high 30s low 40s depending on where mine is is where i go from there.

interested to see what you come up with.
mine peaks at 61 hzz , i run in ss nw hoping for some big numbers at finals next month , if ur deadning the car deadn the roof the doors and everthing behind the b pillar leave the flooor test then do***ent your score then deadn the floor and see if the score changes some crx gain without deadning on the floor

what about the firewall? any ideas on if i should cover that or not?
leave the entire floor/firewall bare everything else doors , roof , everything behind the b piller done test then do parts of the floor see if it gains or goes down most ppl say leaving the firewall non deadned gains it gained me in my car
sounds good i just ordered 300 sq ft to do the crx and yukon
right on man go with a huge port 8.5 inches or 3 6s tunning port length is a huge gain in the crx
