Yeah I've ordered some bulk stuff from suppliers, and the shipping costs will eat you alive.

You can order singles from aliexpress.com, but I haven't seen sub parts on there.

^^ looks like another product that a certain retailer everyone loves sells... Not DD either, maybe they are an offshoot of another company? Lol. Open yours eyes people. That motor is what the "new company that made a kind of dd copy" uses.

 

I wonder how much those 9500's would be shipped here. Would probably make for a nice group buy

 

i've personally have purchased from alibaba, without a single problem. since going public (ipo) the risk of getting scammed is much lower.

Just so you guys know, the zenon company posted up is selling the same amps that Flatline Audio carries. S&I corp. makes the xs8k, dc9k, ab1100.1

I thought zenon boards were dark brown... and the board pictured is blue...

but I've seen other* amps using "the same board" in blue, green, red and brown.

 

The company that you have that email from, if you go to their site it's the Flatline amps. I'm not sure if they are "actual" zenon boards or not

 

zenon is respectable IMO..{aq,dd, some sundown} even if they're selling a dc clone.. I'd rock it

Pretty sure alibaba complete subs are kinda like the VVME RD-12... random parts put together. Definitely not the same quality as the custom builds that name brands order...they might look the same, but there is a reason they are cheap....think about it.

 

Alibaba is like an amazon or ebay. The subs are subs direct from the manufacturers. I think you would be surprised on how close the stated prices are to what the actual costs are for the companies in america using these buildhouses. Sure there are probably instances when this is false but I would put money on it being much less than you think. The prices look cheap but that is just compared to the reworked prices you are getting here on products you think are good deals...

 

I noticed on the zenon site, all of the inputs and outputs are angled. I'd rather buy a used amp with straight inputs for $12-1500 than a new one for $1500 and deal with those

 

Like I said, the ones on that site are What Flatline Audio sells. Plenty of people like the flatline amps. For everyone's info here.... The biggest amp Zenon has (11.5krms) is $1400 shipped to the states, which is like $700-800 less than the "El Jefe" Flatline sells and that is only the 10Krms model.

 

Is that for a "sample" or 25+. I'd hate to order a sample amp and have it be DOA. I'm sure it takes over a month to get here in the first place
