The infinity tweeter and mid range are both 2 ohms along with the crossover being 2 ohms I would not reccomend running the dayton tweets unless your willing to just get a whole new crossover and midrange to go along with it.
The infinity tweeter and mid range are both 2 ohms along with the crossover being 2 ohms I would not reccomend running the dayton tweets unless your willing to just get a whole new crossover and midrange to go along with it.I have an Infinity 6830cs comp set. In the owners manual all it tells me is the impedance is 2 ohm on each channel after both speakers go thru the lil passive xover. Now what I am wondering is, does anyone know what the individual impedance is on the tweet and mid by themselves? I was thinking they were two 4 ohm speakers wired down to a 2 ohm load thru the passive xover, but I dont have any info on each speaker themselves. Manual doesn't say shit, and neither does the speakers themselves. I'm tryin to incorparate another cheap set of dayton tweets into the pillars and they are 8 ohm each. I dont wanna run the cheap tweets I have off the HU, but if I did would it sound like crap? They dayton tweets I have and thinking about throwing in are the ND28F-6 http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=275-040&vReviewShow=1#reviews
I am thinking about running those daytons off the headunit but I'm afraid they sound like crap, they are 30w rms/60w max
