Did my big 4 yesterday




Had to do this to get the the alt, only to find out the nut doesnt want to come off of the stud :angry:

This morning...



After tons and tons of non audio related work i got to do something audio related



Do NOT try to drill with a drill bit and without a drill...



Did a ton of work past few days. I deadened both doors and the hatch and then ran the power wire through the firewall. Threw in everything and got this.

Update August 23:
Got these in the mail yesterday. Im getting some more 1/0 knu and 2 xs power batts today. 8 fuseholders and fuses should ship on this thursday, and i should have 50 ft of red and black braided tubing. Expect the engine bay to look awesome with the wires being color coded. Aslo im gonna get an xs D3400 in due time.


Little more update, picked up the batteries and the dude (symmetry9898) threw in a TON of 0 gauge knu. Im ****in ecstatic!

Now for pics. The wood that is holding the batts is going to be glassed onto the back of the box and end up behind the back seat. I can see it in my eyes and its gonna look show quality.

Got my braided tubing today and an email that said my fuses shipped out. Gonna order an alt a week from now, bcpballer found me a 140a alt for my car :yahoo: :yahoo:

Here is an idea of what im gonna do with the batts, they are going on the back of the new box and are gonna sit behind my back seat so when you fold em down you'll see this. Please ignore the terrible pic, i made it in paint last night with a migraine.

Update Sept 11th
Got my alt in yesterday, and have been working on the batt rack. First pic is when i didn't have a funnel and needed to get all the air outta my coolant system.






This is the lowest the voltage goes when at full tilt.
