I got some a pillars at the junk yard to mess around with tweeter placement.

Not sure how to make some mdf rings with a slant or with more area on one side since I need to space out the back to go off-axis (pointed at each other)

I have a jig saw, 4-1/2 circular, sawzall, multi tool.

Do I need a router? I have a box of 20 new bits, all different.

For a 2010 hhr

Going with the 80w vifa silk dome about middle of the a pillar

I believe, generally when needing that much variation and angles, most people fiberglass. Be easier to get the kind of angle your looking for I would think. Otherwise you could try making multiple thin rings, and stack them, then slice out needed angle. Good luck!
(Also, a router makes life sooo much easier and really opens up your possibilities.)
