...... Why not just get the complete component set? Otherwise you need to run active and have a bandpass on the midbass, your amp choices cannot do that.
piece of cake... just hook them up :thumbsup:How to add the Polk Audio db1001 - Tweeters - Sonic Electronix db1001's to Polk Audio db651 6.5" 2-way Car Speakers (also Marine Certified) db651's to make my own components per say.The amp i'm getting might be a Hifonics Zeus ZXi150.4 to power them and my Polk Audio db691 - 6" x 9" Speakers - Sonic Electronix db691's.My Deck is a Kenwood kdc x493, would I need Equalizer for this setup?:runaround:
Nvm I just finish reading the rest of the posts......... Why not just get the complete component set? Otherwise you need to run active and have a bandpass on the midbass, your amp choices cannot do that.
Which Eq is on your mind?I just took a look at my amp and its hi-pass feq goes to 15000hz, and the tweeters go to 23000hz.Is this bad?Should I look for another amp?Suggestions welcome please.piece of cake... just hook them up :thumbsup:
most likely your amplifier will have a highpass crossover.{use it}
Equalizer? you might want it since you'll have 8 tweetersbut you don't have to have it.
Want to have more highs without having to replace, buy more woofers.Yea I know just need them to be louder.Why buy the tweets? The coaxials have tweets in them.
