I have four american bass hawks. Said the box needs to be tuned to 35. Hz. But im trying to bulid a box that will fit in the trunk of my 2005 impala. I have a huge trunk but after looking at it i only have 18 inches of height. If i build it too long it will hit the top of the trunk when i go to put it in and wont slide in because of clearance.

Go to Rockford Fosgates website. They have a box dimensions page. I used it to make the boxfor my Skar Audio EVL-10 That fits where the jump seat used to be (middle front seqt under the armrest. I even reused the original armrest.

Maybe try assembling the box in the trunk .. it'll be it's forever home but it'll get the job done!!!

Use an aero port instead of slot.
