id say about the same but if i was gonna go northstar id do the nsb100's!! the 100's and d3100's are within .2db of each other i cant remember which one was more right off hand!

I'd say whichever one you choose will be a good decision.
The Northstar seems to be more popular with the burp guys in dB Drag street classes where the XS Power is more popular with the music guys in Bass Race. Jacob has one of each sitting at his place along with a Stinger 2150. Maybe one day we'll do some head to head testing with them.
hmmm thanks for the info. im all about music and doing bassracing.. so that makes the decision difficult

NSBs have a GREAT amount of reserve which is great for short burps, but take quite a bit longer to recharge between burps and REQUIRE a charge on a charger to get them back to where they were.
Not saying that charging a d3100 won't do anything but in my experience they charge VERY well just from the alternator.

prob a lot. nsbs can usually be found for very cheap. while d3100s are kinda pricey but well worth itsame here. lol. whats the price difference?
just google d3100's i found a few places selling them for 330 shipped which is 70 bucks cheaper the xs quoted me for 1!!
and most those places discount for multiple orders.
