Opinions on high power amp. 18v setup
im looking for opinions on a high powered amp. im looking to run a minimum or 10k watts on 16v setup charging at 19v. i will be running xs power d1600 batts, dc power 380sp alts and lots of welding cable. will be pushing my 2 18's. my current enclosure sits at 1.6 ohms after rise on a 60hz tone which is where i would like to burp for comps, and i would also like to run music through this setup.
im looking at soundigital, stetsom, cactus sounds, possibly american bass, audioque and sundown also. im just looking for opinions on some solid setups from personal experience with higher powered setups. i can either run 2 smaller amps strapped or one larger amp which ever will work best.
so far to me soundigital looks promising. so does cactus sounds. but im looking from experience from people who have pushed setup this powerful for a daily/comps setup. ive heard mixed opinions about stetsom and soundigital. so im looking for advice. what do you guys think?

See I want to be efficient and I like the sundown3500 but the cost is to much for me. I'm loking for something in the $1500 range I can get new with a warranty.

I would go with one amp over multiple smaller amps for effecincy. SD and Stetsom seem to be pretty hit or miss. They make big power, but I have seen a fair share of blown ones lately now that they are becoming more mainstream. I would go with the Cactus or AB maybe AQ but they have no warrenty.
I personally run 2 memphis 4ks on 16v daily. They make about [email protected] ohms after rise in my setup.

cactus k12 imo or even a k9 i love my cactuses and can take a beating run at .35-.5 daily and can burp down to .125 but really dont gain dropping it past .25. and its not just #'s for power they put up #'s on the mic! just my .02
I have a 4500D on 16volts at 1ohm....pushed my 2 btls VERY well...never got hot...have been clamped doing over 7000w..you could get 2 of them strapped at 1 at be set.
Always wanted to try a cactus. The SD and Stetson amps all I'm reading and seeing about them is junk. They look like garbage on the inside and even the people who repair them don't have much nice to say. Brazillian amps seem to have a high quality variance and sloppy people putting them together. I wouldn't take a chance with big money/big power. I've read the aa 500.1 can put out 9k or so @ 16v :dontknow:

look into the 1000.1 or the 1100.1.
Read around smarta$$ I've seen anywhere from 8 to 9 k on 16v
