it has the pico fuse issue that is common in pioneers. its only in the front rca outputs though. so when you hook an amp for your front stage up to it, it buzzes. it is fixed by grounding the rcas. the sub rca outputs are fine though. the usb is in the back on a cord about 6 inches long.
it in the last picture. the short cord is connected to the unit in the back, not plugged in. its plugging is a usb end. the same as the small end on ipod cords. the problem isn't in the hu's speaker leads, its in the pico fuse for the "front" rcas. only creates a buzz if you are amping the front stage, and it is fixed by grounding the front rcas. i have it set up to be grounded already. its easy. I think you have a different issue because this headunit sounds awesome. its really not a big issue i just addressed it because i didnt want someone getting upset if there was a slight buzz when they amp their fronts. i used this thing for almost a year with the "issue" and it didnt bother me at all. i just got a great deal on a kenwood x993 which is the hu i have been wanting for awhile.oh, that's what is causing that buzzing in my right speaker! i just got my ipod adapter hooked up to my premier and i'm not impressed w/the sound, the volume is basically cut in half even after i turn the vol all the way up on the ipod and i've seen another HU my buddy has where the ipod connects to a usb in the front and his plays loud, looking for the same solution
it seems reasonable. im not looking to get a ton of money out of it, i just don't need 2 headunits sitting around. my mom is getting upset at my collection! This is going to go insanely fast this is a good deal!
