What RCAs does everyone run? So many companies make them, so which are good to run and whats not the greatest to run?

Looking to spend a max of 30 bucks for a set of 2 channel 16ft RCAs. Be perfect if i can get red/black rcas.

I got a badass deal on rockford ones. Bestbuy by me was selling out of their rockford stuff to replace with kicker. 17 ft rcas were 3 bucks a set. I bought 3. They also had rockford 8 ga wiring kits for 8 bux a piece lol
should of stocked up to all hell on the rcas ^^ and i use random home rcas w/e i can find cheap at home depot or where ever lol
Monoprice is pretty good for cheap.

I think next time I'm gonna make my own.

I want to make my own as well but the cable I want to use is too darn expensive to make it worth while. Guess I could use something else, but I have been looking for something specific.

SIDENOTE - If I had a dollar for every time this topic came up...
I know this topic comes up just like everyday but i'm just looking for red and black rcas to match my interior (also my power wire). I like the look of the RCAs getlikeme uses in his camry, just would like red and black ones.

Canare Star Quad? That's probably what I'd want to use personally. Though really, I wonder how much a difference a cheaper mic cable would make to a quad cable.

That is a good cable...I can get a good deal on that through the company I work for and our sister company makes a functional equal which keeps the cost down even more. I was actually looking at this...

OP, those Monsters will work fine. Go with those if they match your setup and you are cool with the price.
Honestly, it really doesn't matter all that much. As long as they have good noise rejection and they are constructed sturdy enough to withstand the automotive environment, they will do just fine. Almost all reputable brands fall into this category. Monster, Stinger, Tsunami, Knukonceptz, RF, Kicker, ETC

I use knukonceptz because the price is right, but have used TONS of other brands in the past, and the only one I wouldn't use again is scosche because the damn things broke when I tried to remove them from my amplifier. I wouldn't use "cheap junk" because it may break, and also might not have good enough noise rejection.

A lot of people compare Knu to "cheap junk"...they break just as easy. I wouldn't touch Knu RCA's with a 10ft pole.

that's not my experience at all. :dontknow:

I can take pictures comparing them to other brands, and show you what I mean.
