Since everyone is just giddy about 4th orders these days, I'm thinking of jumping on the bandwagon. :runaround:

Setup is as such: Six Hif12d4 in a half-wall of 15 ft^3 slot ported at 30hz. I can add a "topper" of about another 8ft^3 and use that as the sealed chamber, then rearange the port on the lower 15 cubes. Anyone think this will be worth it? I have some more room if need be. Any ideas for port area/size? :dontknow:The subs are run off an ap1800 at 1.33 ohms nominal. The goal is to peak in the 40-45hz range but still have extention into the 30s. No comps, no screwed/chopped stuff, just a daily thing. thanks!

i reccomend you do some 4th order research before you try to build one. There are some serious differences in designing a 4th order vs a standard vented enclosure.
