as the title says i really want the 18" lms 5400. is this sub all its hyped up to be or is there something better. how well does it perform. anyone have experience with these.

i think twistedchild420 had one in his hyundai and was over 150 with it but he had to have it reconed before long.

do you think a saz2500 would be too much for it. i know its rated 2000rms but ive also heard of people putting like 3-4 on them

It will take that and ask for more. I think twisted had an opti 6000 on his but i dont know what ohm it was at.

Stock they will take about 3k. Rebuilt with 4" 8l coil and 5 spiders about 5k. They are hands down the best 18" I've played with.

Didn't I tell you he could help? Lol...heard it Saturday, it's SICK...clean, deep, LOUD. SPL with SQ, no sub better out there, imo....
