thinking bout buying a few to sit on them but i only have use for one lol

figure if i grab a few before the price hike it could be good BUT that depends on whether or not there cheap to get word out or cheap due to actual quality

Vital Power USA
Link say made in USA.
They have a layaway plan....three payments of $333.33 with a three month time limit.

The way the board is set up and marked, there should be resistors here. Instead, there are just bare metal jumpers. They're crooked or bent and are touching eachother....

Is that OK??

I only opened up one amp. I'll open the rest after track today

this is my own 2 cents but if a company was going to make a claim "made in the usa " why would they do a standard korean case ? the amp is a direct copy of the new american bass 750.1 with the exception of triple inputs .

only reason i have not tried one is becuase it is associated with addictive audio and the last 2 amp designs were a failure until upgraded

Then they may be referring to their other products being made in America.

You really thought it was made on the USA ? Really ? If it was it would easily cost 4 or 5 k in just the labor cost differences

He was going off what it say on their website.

But, I'm still getting one. They claimed via email that they are raising the prices but didn't mention anything about a version 2 :/
In addition, don't go to paypal for layaway... and if you don't pay the $999.99 in time, on the 91st day you forfeit the amp and the amount you paid...
Just thought you all should know what was emailed to me

those are resistors, just very low resistance. similar to a shunt. leave them where they are, dont bend
Ok, good thing I asked before bending them. Are they all going to the same place or would they short out on each other if they touched?

glad you cleared it up . seemed fishy to me it was an american made amp lol.
Why would they lie about it though??

also, throw up what the part number is on the rca side of the board. starts with "
SMB"
SMB-399-90

still waiting on pics before i consider popping the trigger
What more do you want as far as pictures?

They haven't updated their website to allow for the new exception
Maybe. But what other Korean company built the amps then?

The rep I talked to specifically said they were NOT Zenon :dontknow:

could be from S&I

the resistors should be left as is. they wont short/cause issue or they would have by now. they could also be paralleled under the board thus not mattering. bending them could mess up solder joints. best not to get greedy

in terms of photos im looking for some up close shots all over. as an overall quality inspection and possibly info we dont have yet
