ok first off lesson learned dont buy pa subs lol.
sure they fine on a smaller amp, but anyway

i bought a new sub and hooked it up ect ect,
started out with setting almost half way since they said 2600 watt max and 1400 rms for the sub, ya right lol

so question is the dang sub dont take power for crap i can make the sub bottom out pretty easy/
so should i just blow the sub? and send it back in and get a refurbished/new one?
i mean iv already bottom it out pretty hard lol so its been slapped around.

thoughts??

PA woofers don't like excursion. They also don't like lower notes... they sacrifice low end for efficiency.

How big of a woofer are you using? Remember, a 10" PA speaker isn't a subwoofer, it's a midrange/midbass. A 15" PA woofer is usually a midbass...
