Seriously, I never gave this too much thought. I have a smaller Stinger that I used for the last four years as my secondary battery (in line from primary to amps)
That Stinger seems to lose all it's juice intermittently, so it's time to replace. the question is, just how much better is (BRANDXYZ) 'car audio' batteries compared to the 'top shelf' marine deep cycle battery?

Aren't a lot of them just rebranded from (MANUFACTURERX)?

I know, amatuer Q (from an old guy that's been into good stuff for three decades...)

For the most part yes. XS and Odyssey are pretty much the same thing with different style terminals/pads, and color of cases. Deka is a slightly cheaper version of the 2 top tier named above. All 3 are made for industrial use. Fast discharge and recharge ability plus they can be taken to 80% discharge and fully recharged without losing any life for up to 3-500 cycles. Kintek and stinger are similar in how they discharge. But neither will hold a hard pull for as long as the other 3 would.
