did a wire come off of the x over?
blew something in the amp?
wires touching?

could be something in the headunit...
try to turn the car off and turn it back on basic trouble shooting solutions. from here try to disconnect the amp and use one at a time and see if its just one amp acting funny or both. write back your results...

Best it's the amp. In cases like this, I take the amp out and put it on my bench with known working HU, RCA's and speaker. Could be your RCA's but I'm leaning towards amp as I had two of the same brand that did this to me.
