Ouch thats small. What sub(s)?

 

small boxes are a bitch to tune low. 1.5 before or after displacements?

 

After displacement, sub is eclipse sw6010

 

1"x5" is way to small, port area is only 3.3 sq" per ^ft.
2"x11"x58" will have port area of 14.7 sq" per ^ft tuned at 25hz.

Here is a design I did with 2 1/2" x 10" x 46" tuned to 30hz.

 

just go with a bigger box , and why would you need to go that low with a single ten? mid 30's make so much more sense.. just sayin you dont need to tune at the fs lol


i have used a pair of similar tens in a 4 cube box tuned to 30hz, port was something like 3 w 12 h 28"..ish? deep, played really low for tens

try a 2 cube box port 1.5w 12t 20(ish)d

 

I'm just going by the recommended specs. I'd love to see if they really do dig down as far as they say it will.

Plus I'm using this to train myself on box design and sketchup, the sub is just sitting here collecting dust so I figure I'd give myself a challenge.

edit: also, f3 on these is 22hz so I'm not actually all the way there :nod:
