Good comparison. Only difference is..my subs look very different from anything they built UNTIL my subs were released. Then they dropped their new line with identical parts...

Of course not he had pap build his subs for him then they took the parts they used for his (which they own and have every right too) and made there own subs. This is what you fall into when you have someone else do your dirty work for you.

Which I have no problem with as long as they explained that up front and gave me the option to make my parts exclusive, which they're supposed to.

Neither of which happened. Luckily all my subs are now designed and built in house. :icon_smile:

lol kent's spl cells, lets just take a shocker sig and put our recone on it and call it our sub. He did the same thing with there neos too. :rofl:

Ruin what? How its putting your name on it ruining it? lol. Everyone does that, lol Look at the Zenon amps, seems like 20 different companies have the same amps, doesnt change the quality, right?

Thats not an equal comparison. Zenon builds amps for other companies, that is how they make there money. The companies design and decide what they want in there amp.


Shocker made the sig, designed the whole thing, then splcell said oh lets take this (one of the best subs out) and put our name on it so it looks like we have good R&D and know what were going. If they had done that with any other company they would have been in court so fast.The fact is they picked the company that had dropped off the face of this earth but left behind an amazing sub.

Id like to see them go and take a bunch of FI BTLs and but there dustcap on that, see what Nick and Scott do about that, good chance is SPLcell would be seeing a legal letter in a matter of days and then follow that up with a nice fun court date.

Wow, these are big words, and you have absolutely no idea what your talking about Matt. The SPL C-450 Subwoofer and Neo, was worked with through Mike. So guess what same thing as the Zenon Stuff. There was no Stealing of anything. Maybe you should get your stories straight before you slander. Maybe we could talk about it in person sometime as I am right near ya all the time in Wiscosin for work? You want to know what your talking about before you post stuff? Maybe not.
